Golden Dove Diner in Staten Island

I love there delicious clean fresh reasonable priced food!!! The only Diner on Staten Island that has affordable prices! And the restaurant is immaculate! All the workers are great .the Kitchen Crew is the best on Staten Island!!!!!

Food is great for it's price. The proption is huge. The waffle fries are nice and crispy. Definitely will come back

Just had a late lunch/early dinner with my daughter and everything was amazing. The service we had was great and attentive; our server was wonderful. The food we had was delicious! I had Grilled Shrimp & Calamari over mixed greens with raspberry vinaigrette dressing, which came with a soup and desert for $18.95 and it was DELICIOUS!!! Thank you for the cleanliness and great service!

I order delivery from here and everything is great. Unbelievably good burgers and club sandwiches are to die for.

We went here for our 15th wedding anniversary. We were treated with respect, kindness and great service. The food rocked and the atmosphere is nice. The only small thing that bothered me was that the sun was in my eyes. They didn't have shades. Besides that, I give them a great rating. I'll be back.

Always have a great time and good food at the Dove Diner, been going for many years, with family and friends alike, never had a bad or even slightly poor experience. Excellent service, Excellent staffing, and when we're all done with our meals and drinks, we're never ever rushed out of the establishment, we sit sometimes for half an hour shooting the breeze ! Always leave a good tip !

Food & service was very good, plenty of parking. Inside is nice looking but the outside could use some fixing up. We will return in the near future.

My husband and I ate here for a late brunch and the food was good. My husband got the Louisiana Panini and I got the Western Omelette meal. My husband really liked his panini. I enjoyed my omelette, but it was a touch overcooked. Our waitress was very nice and delivered great customer service. I would definitely recommend getting food here. Wait staff is welcoming and helpful, and they serve up quality classic diner fare.

They were very accommodating, we were a group of seven and they made room for us to rat and not be crowded against one another. The management and servers treated us like family

First time here and yes we will be back when we come back in July. We came for dinner late at night. There were four of us and we all ordered different items. One ordered the Vodka Penne she said it was the best she ever ate. We all sampled her dinner choice. She was right it was superb. It had large fresh mushrooms and the sauce was creamy. Our youngster had a Mediterranean Pannis. It was the first time she ate the whole thing. She ate the Red Velvet cake for dessert. I Had the Corned Beef and Cabbage. There was enough for two people. I had tapioca pudding for dessert. Mrs. D had a large bowl of Chicken Noodle soup and a cup of Coffee. If your ever traveling and want a great meal, come here you will not be disappointed. We will be back.

As far as diners go this has got it all. The decor a throwback, and an extensive menu. The pancakes are always on point

The Dove is a wonderful place to eat either a big meal or burgers and fries. The owners are there all the time they are very friendly. The wait staff is amazing. The food is excellent whether a salad, a wrap or a full course meal. I am there at least 2x a week.

Delicious diner fare, well run, friendly management, attentive, charming waitresses. They have large screen TVs and will change the channel on request. A nice place to eat with friends.

Best "Western Omelette" ever!! Tons of green peppers, onions and diced ham. Very good service. Parking lot behind diner.

After a horrible experience at Z One we came here and it was fantastic. Food was good, waitress was extremely nice, owner was giving out shots. Will definitely drive out of the way to come here again!

Prices are a bit on the high side . The fountain in the front is nothing but a big ashtray ... seats are ripped . Not the diner I remember . Hey the TVs are really nice !!

To make a long story short my family and I love this diner, the food and the fast warm friendly service there. I don't mind the whole outdoor dining experience as long as the food is good and it's not very hot/humid or raining cats and dogs.

Me least favorite diner on Staten Island. The produce never seems fresh and they have no clue how to cook eggs. As a last resort it is okay but there are definitely more worth while choices close by. Be selective if you have to go there.

Went there about a week ago and didn’t have such a great experience. The waiters and waitresses aren’t friendly at all. They were actually rude. About 2 years back there were some great waitresses. One waitress Gal was always friendly and checked on our table often, was very sweet to my kids and husband and i noticed she tended to about 6 other tables with such a breeze and with a welcoming smile on her face. We even recommended our friends and family request her when going to the Dove. However, now the waitresses just want you out of there. A few that i didn’t even get their name because they were in such a rush to rush us out. I couldn’t even tell you the name of our waitress. Either a short girl who was more occupied by her phone or the girl who spent the night fighting with a who seemed to be her boyfriend.You need to hire some new waitresses with some experience with people. My friends and family have stopped going there as well because of the same reason.

Jason the waiter/server there is great ask him whats good that night and he will point you in the right direction!

Been going here since I was a kid and it is always great. I had a gyro. Large portions, great service.

This was the worst experience at a diner i have ever went to. My dad got a fajita wrap and they put so much seasoning it was dripping out of the wrap. He also asked for a cup of bbq sauce it had a chunk of food in it when he opened it that is just disgusting. how would it get in there without them putting it back from another plate. another time i asked for plain spaghetti and sauce on the side when it got to the table i see little things of broccoli in side when i asked for a new one there was still broccoli in it which makes me think are they not washing the pots. also the waiter i had was very forgetful he was forgetting the fries the pickles and other thing this place has went down after a few year we will not be coming back its time for a new diner.

The food is great, very big plates with large portions. The staff is generally pleasant and fulfill orders quickly. My food has always come correct and I've never had any issues with my orders. It's kinda pricey, but you get what you pay for.

Typical diner food. Nothing really great. However, service was very good. The management was accommodating to moving our table near a TV and changing the channel to what we wanted to watch. It was a late weeknight so it wasn't busy.

Well don’t order the veggie wrap or the Romanian steak sandwich it’s all fat was it worth it through away my money breakfast is delicious I remember Al Depies what a place Now the Dove dinner sits there and the food will never be as that Dove Dinner does have some good food breakfast is delicious other things I stay away from I’ve learned and throwing money away by ordering the other things services good people are polite the food sucks except for breakfast

A little overpriced.

Their home delivery has got to be the best around. Sometimes food doesn't translate well between the restaurant and home..but however Dove does it, it's still delicious when it gets here. Really appreciate the effort. We've been eating here for forever.

It's the standard diner but like most diners, breakfast is the specialty and best bet to order. I've been getting the Big Boy Breakfast recently and loving it (just an FYI does not come with pancakes). I would get it every morning if I could but it's too heavy. For lighter options I would do two eggs with choice of meat or corned beef hash.

Open 24hrs. Staff is always nice. Food is good, especially for a diner. They still have the retro juke boxes on the other half of the diner.
